Marketing Lead

We are seeking a Marketing Lead to own the company’s communications, PR and community development initiatives, as well as preparing for a few Kickstarter-like campaigns for the sale of digital items, the first one of which will take place in June on Nifty Gateway. This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world with a good internet connection. 



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the creation and delivery of a AAA marketing experience, including our brands communications, GTM plan, customer and market research, PR and community development.

  • Execute tactically on growth, owning metrics and analytics, SEO, social media reach, influencer relationships, ad buys, and LTV optimization. Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.

  • Help design and launch a kickstarter-like campaign for the sale of digital items, the first one of which will take place in mid June.

  • Work with Product to distill and communicate the unique selling points for our game and platform.

  • Develop strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic.

  • Experiment with various organic and paid acquisition channels.

  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.

  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.

  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Have 5 years minimum hands-on experience as a Marketing Lead.

  • Solid understanding of online & free-to-play marketing strategies.

  • Strong copywriting skills.

  • Understands how to create desire in the minds of customers.

  • Must love games.


DESIRABLE

  • Experienced giving pitches and demos.

  • Understands modern social media marketing including streamers and influencers.

  • Has strong relationships with top and trending gaming influencers.

  • Experience with large dollar ad campaigns.

  • Existing relationships with top gaming influencers and magazines.

  • Deep knowledge of game genres especially action RPG.

  • Metric driven approach to user acquisition.

  • Knows how to nurture and grow a gaming community.

  • Ability to balance community and stakeholder needs.

  • Strong public speaking skills.
